I dyed it too much! ~How to restore the color that was dyed too much with a dye~
Hello! This is Akane-chan!
This time, in case you accidentally dyed too dark with the dye.
I'm sure it will be useful!
I'll teach you how to make it lighter!
What you need is "Oxygenated clothes bleach
In particular, the ingredients include
Sodium hydrogen sulfite Sodium sulfite anhydrous Sodium hyposulfite
Sodium hydrogen sulfite, sodium sulfite anhydrous, sodium hyposulfite.
It is easy to decolorize synthetic fibers, so we recommend it!
If the bleach you have in your house doesn't contain any of the above ingredients.
If the bleach in your house does not contain any of the above ingredients, then there is no problem, so don't worry!
By the way, the "Wide Haiter" I'm using this time contains the following ingredients
I accidentally forgot to check the ingredients...
I forgot to check the ingredients of the "Wide Haiter" I used this time, and bought the one that didn't contain them.
We used
Classe's original dye for wigs
WIG COLOR DYE.
â†â†Clicking on the link will take you to the product page of the dyeing agent.
And here's the dyed wig we've prepared!
It is a straight 100cm PRO Purple 02 wig that we happened to have on hand.
dyed with a dyeing agent (black).
But....
Because of the large amount of hair in the straight 100 cm
The hair was not dyed well and the result was uneven.
If you are going to dye, I definitely recommend the short type.
Soak this wig in a mixture of bleach and water prepared in advance in a bucket.
The amount of bleach and water is indicated on the side of the bleach, so be sure to measure properly!
☆One point information☆
When bleaching or washing, place the wig in the provided wig net and then in a laundry net.
The fibers are less likely to move in the water, so they are relatively less likely to tangle.
Soak the wig until it is fully submerged.
The longer the wig is soaked, the more likely it is to fade.
but it is not recommended to leave the wig soaked for a long time as it may damage the wig fibers.
We do not recommend leaving the wig soaked for a long time.
About 30~40 minutes is best!
After soaking, the water turns black.
Then, add laundry detergent, rub gently, and soak for another 30 minutes.
Soak for another 30 minutes.
Use about 3~4 grams of detergent.
The detergent used this time is
The detergent used this time is a powder type in individual packets that are convenient to carry.
Of course, liquid detergent can also be used.
Please be careful not to rub in too much, as it may cause the wig to tangle.
*Be sure to use laundry detergent for clothes.
*Please do not use any detergent, especially those listed as "Do not mix".
Do not add kitchen bleach, etc.
After soaking, rinse well with water and wash with fabric softener.
(*If you do not have a fabric softener, you can use a rinse.)
To prevent tangling, be sure not to rub in too much fabric softener.
Please be careful not to rub in too much to prevent tangles.
I said this twice because it is very important.

Drain well and pat dry between towels.
The trick is to drain the water as if tapping it.
Now, I know I said to myself, "Don't rub in too much," but...
Akane-chan, who loves housework, did it...
I got extremely tangled up in it.
When you wash your PRO longs, please be careful not to rub them in as much as possible!
be careful not to rub it in too much!
After washing, since bleach is used, there will be a little stiffness and tangling.
There will be some wrinkling and tangling after washing.
If there are tangles that are too complicated to be untangled by hand
We recommend using scissors to cut out the tangled parts.
By the way, I did my best to get this mop of hair back to normal by hand combing and cutting.
I tried to put it back, but this is the best I could do.
I've got fluffy, dusty hair (sweat).
The result of entanglement processing and hair loss ...
So many...
But I cut so much!
I don't feel as if the volume has been reduced at all.
The great thing about PRO Straight 100cm is that it doesn't seem to have lost any volume at all!
Now, let's have some fun and check the color loss☆!
Let's see how much color has drained out, and compare!
Before (before bleaching) →→→→
After (after bleaching) →→→→
The color got a little brighter!
We couldn't remove all the color completely.
If I dyed it too dark, I could lighten it up a little!
Bleaching removes excess dye that has not been fully fixed, so if you are concerned about color transfer to the garment after dyeing, bleaching can prevent the color from falling off.
If you are worried about color transfer to clothes after dyeing, you can also bleach to prevent color fading!
By the way, won't the original color of the wig be bleached? You may be wondering.
You may be wondering.
The fibers of a wig are like plastic, and the resin material itself is colored.
Therefore, the original color is not affected by bleaching, only the dyed color can be bleached!
Let me explain it to you simply.
In simple terms, it is the same as using bleach on a bucket of water.
Therefore, it is only effective for wigs dyed with dyeing agents.
Please remember that bleach is an oxygen-based bleaching agent!
So, everyone.
Adios!
