Thank you very much for your patronage during the past year.
We look forward to serving you again in the New Year.
This time, in honor of the New Year?
I would like to introduce you to the "oiran (courtesan) style.
You must try this style at least once.
Don't miss it!
Hello again, everyone.
My name is Aoi, and I am in charge of class styling.
Well, it's the New Year.
New Year's is for kimonos!
And speaking of kimono, oiran (courtesans)! (Oiran!
That's why we're going to try that "oiran" style this time!
To create an elaborate style, you need to buy a wig as a base
And then buy a bunch of hair... this and that...
The cost is ridiculous.
So, this time, I want to try the oiran (courtesan) style using only PRO's straight 80cm pink 07 wig.
to try the oiran (courtesan) style!
First of all, what you need to prepare is...
1. comb, brush, etc.
2. Pins such as setting spray, wax, dacquard, etc.
3・Cutting scissors and combing scissors.
4. Stuffing for when you want to bulk up the hair volume.
(Cotton, wool balls, etc. can be used as substitutes.)
Prepare the above.
First, start with blocking, which is essential and important when cutting.
Blocking is not only useful when cutting!
Blocking is also essential to make it easier to work with and less likely to get tangled when doing an updo or arrangement.
Blocking is also indispensable to make it easier to work with and less likely to get tangled when doing up-do or arranging.
First, separate the hair as shown in the image below.
When you put your hair up.
the collar ends are inevitably bent, or the collar ends are not handled well.
So this time, we are going to cut off the number 8 part and use it as a "hair tuck"!
and use it as a "hair tuck"!
Now, back to the topic of blocking.
The bangs are smaller than the usual triangles, like this.
What is the usual triangle? What is the blocking of the cut?
If you are wondering "What is blocking?
If you are wondering "How to minimize the possibility of cut failure", please refer to the following
for more information.
Now, let's actually use the wig for blocking.
1-3.
This is where the bangs and fringe will be.
Don't take too much, just enough width for your needs.
The first section is the width of the line connecting the top of the head and the corner of the eyes.
Part 1 becomes the bangs and part 3 becomes the fringe.
4 to 6
Numbers 4 to 6 are divided from the top of the head to the area connecting the sides of the ears.
Even if the amount of hair is a little small, it can be increased later by inverting the hair or inserting a hair tuck.
You can increase the amount of hair later by back hair or by adding a hair tuck.
7, 8]
The remaining 7 and 8 will be divided out later.
Let's keep them together now so they don't get in the way.
If you want to reuse the cut hair for the "hair tabor,"
If you want to reuse the cut hair for the "hair tabor," please cut the part 8 first.
(We will explain the details later, so please read through to the end><)
Now, let's start processing the topknot part of the oiran (courtesan).
First, make the topknot by making reverse hairs on No. 6.
Use a comb to create the back hair.
When creating the reverse hair comb, it is important to leave the most front part of the hair in place.
If you do not leave the hair in the front, the bristled hair will come to the surface.
This is the part of the hair that should be left without back hair.
As shown in the image, separate the hair a little and then reverse the hair.
Now, let's start to reverse the hair.
As shown in the image, pull the hairs between your fingers.
Then, insert a comb between them and move it toward the root.
Then, the hair will be gathered at the root and will look like a frizz.
the roots and form a kind of frizz.
It looks like this! (see image below)
Now let's reverse the hair for the rest of the hair.
When you have finished putting up all the back hair.
Gather the hair and tuck it in at the back.
At this point, leave the hair on the surface.
The size of the hair in this section can be changed depending on the amount of back hair.
Please feel free to arrange it as you like.
If you want to make it bigger
If you want to make it bigger, try taking more width of 6.
When blocking 4 to 6, take some hair from the lower back of the head.
you can get a larger volume of hair.
You can also use a comb to create a larger volume of hair.
You can also use a comb to pull up the hair part as shown in the image to make it taller.
Now, once you have some height.
Cover the surface with unbacked hair.
If short hair comes out like the blue circle in the image
If short hairs appear on the surface, you can use wax or something else to blend them.
Spread wax over the entire palm of your hand and apply it as if you were stroking the surface.
Apply the wax to the surface of the hair as if you were stroking it.
Secure the ends of the hair with an elastic band to stabilize it.
To adjust the height
To adjust the height, pinch the part fixed with rubber and push it forward.
You can adjust the height to a certain degree.
The final fixation is done after checking the overall balance.
The side part is made first.
Divide the side part into several sections in the same way as before, and create inverted hair.
Again, avoid back hairs on the surface.
The hair at the front should be left un brushed so that it does not grow back on the surface.
Only reverse the hair as much as necessary for the required volume.
(If you want to add a hair comb, you don't need to backstitch that much.)
If you reverse the hair as shown in the image, you can get a fuchsia near the root.
The fuchsia is placed near the root.
Now, here is where the "hair tabor" is inserted.
This time, we used the hair from the wig left over from the previous cut and
cotton from a 100-yen store.
Here, the color is different from that of the wig for clarity.
When actually using the wig, it is recommended to dye the cotton the same color as the wig in advance, or to reuse the cut part of the wig (tie the 7 blocking first, and then cut the 8 hair).
or reuse the part where the wig was cut (tie 7 of the blocking first, then cut 8 of the hair).
(tie the blocking 7 first, and then cut the hair for 8).
When reusing pre-cut hair for the "hair tabor", please roll it up as shown in the image.
Fix cotton or pre-cut hair (hereafter uniformly referred to as "hair tabor") to the root of the inverted hair.
Fix the hair at the root of the inverted hair.
Fixing can be done simply by fastening the top and bottom with pins, etc.
You can fix it firmly.
After fixing the hair tabs, cover the hair that has just been brushed back and the hair that has been removed from the front of the head.
and the hair that has been removed from the front of the head.
But first!
I forgot to tie the back...
I'm sorry...
The part to be tied is the part 7.
Take only enough volume to tie it up.
If you are using pre-cut hair as a "hair tabor"
8 section should be cut first.
Now, let's tie up part 7.
By the way, do you ever have a problem with your hair ends getting tangled in the elastic or being difficult to tie?
By the way, have you ever had a problem with the ends of your hair getting tangled with the elastic or being difficult to tie?
In such a case!
Please see the following image.
First, prepare a single elastic without a loop.
Pinch the end of the elastic between the thumb and forefinger of the hand holding the hair.
Then, pinch the other end of the elastic with your free hand.
Wrap the other end of the elastic around the root of the hair, passing it under the hand that is holding the hair and the end of the hair you want to tie.
Repeat several times until the roots are firmly bound.
the roots should be firmly tied.
While taking care not to loosen the elastic, tie a knot at the end of the elastic.
Tie the end of the elastic.
Then you can tie it up without the hair ends getting in the way.
Now let's go back to the side part of the hair.
The hair ends were still stuck together.
Sorry for leaving it alone....
Now, let's add the hair that has just been brushed back to the fixed "hair tab" and the hair that has been left at the front of the head.
Cover the "hair tabor" with the hair that was left at the front of the head.
Twist the ends of the hair diagonally upward
the ends of the hair to the root of the tied hair.
Pin the twisted hair at the root (the beginning of twisting).
If you set the pins a little higher, as shown in the image, you can use a single pin to hold it in place.
You can fix the hair firmly with one pin as shown in the image.
After that, you can spray the fixed part to prevent it from loosening.
Once firmly fixed, cover the surface with clean hair that has been left behind and pin in the same way.
Pin in the same way.
If the "hair follicle" is visible from the surface, use the pointed end of the comb (the tail part) to push the follicle in.
Use the pointed end ( tail part) of the comb to push the hair follicle in.
Once the overall shape is nicely formed, spray to firm it up.
Proceed in the same way on the other side.
For the sake of experimentation, cotton will be used as a hairball.
Both sides are now complete.
I made it modestly smaller this time...
but you can make it as large as you like for your purpose.
Also, the border between the bangs and the
If you relax the surface hair a little, you can hide it.
the roots of the hair will be beautifully finished.
And how have you been so far?
I am sorry if I have soaked up blood and sweat at the beginning of the New Year.
If you are tired of processing, take a break here and
Refresh yourself!
So far, so close...!
Please see the next article for the rest of this story.
