We will show you how to make two-dimensional highlights.
Here is what you will need...
1. Wig
Label paper (printed paper with stickers on the back)
3. hairspray
4. Vinyl (large enough to completely fit the wig)
5. Lacquer spray (with pattern/pattern/highlight color)
Here is what we used this time...

You can find "2. label paper" at 100 yen stores and electronics mass merchandisers, and "5. lacquer spray" at home centers and stationery/art supply stores!
Please attach the wig to a mannequin or stand and secure it so that it will not move.
Now, let's get started!
Prepare a "mold" by cutting out label paper in the shape you want to make, such as patterns, patterns, highlights, etc.

Next, prepare the wig.
First, brush out the flow of the hair.
If there are tangles, bounces, or kinks, they will cause unevenness and color bleeding when painting, so be careful!

Once the surface is prepared, harden the hairs at the position where you want to put patterns, patterns, and highlights with hairspray.
The hairs should be hardened one by one to make a "line" into a "surface"...
Please spray away from the wig so that the wind pressure of the spray does not disturb the hairs.
After this, let the hairspray dry thoroughly for at least 3 hours, or 5 hours if you can afford it, depending on the area you have hardened.
After drying...
Cover the wig with vinyl with holes punched in it and stick the sticker side of the "mold" made from label paper over it.

If the "mold" is too large, cut a slit around it so that it can be attached neatly along the roundness of the wig!
Now it is time to paint the wig with lacquer spray.
When working indoors, be sure to provide adequate ventilation!

Again, spray away from the wig so that the wind pressure from the spray will not disturb the hairs.
During the drying process, I felt that the color was a little pale. So I sprayed the wig with lacquer spray again after it was completely dry.
This can happen, so leave the "mold" and vinyl covered during the drying process.
When the lacquer spray is completely dry and there is no problem with the color intensity, slowly peel off the mold with the vinyl and you are done!

The star is now beautifully shaped just like the "mold"...!
A solid pattern has been created that is not affected by the surrounding environment or lighting.
Finally...
The areas sprayed with lacquer spray cannot be washed.
Please take good care of the wig for a long time as "a wig specially designed for that character".
