Please attach the wig to a mannequin or stand and secure it so that it does not move.
Now, let's get started... ♪
Cut the excess part of the bangs.
Leave it long, taking into account the amount needed for standing up.

The cut hair will be used later when creating the hairline.
Don't throw them away, save them!
Divide the bangs in half on the left and right sides and work one side at a time.
Lift up the left and half bangs and apply heat to the base of the wig with a hair dryer.

When the heat is evenly distributed throughout the wig, place a cooling pad between the two halves and let the bangs fall down to cool and straighten them.
Slowly remove the cold pack and it will look like this...

You can even add some volume by brushing back your hair!
After that, I let the right and half side of the hair stand up in the same way.

Once the hair stands up ideally, spray and set.
If you don't want to create a hairline, the hairline is now complete!
From here, we will create a hairline.
Lay out a thin layer of hair from the cut bangs and spray it thoroughly.

When the hairs are completely hardened, slowly peel them off and divide them into pieces that are easy to use.
After shaping the hair to follow the curve of the bangs with an iron or iron, apply bond to both the wig body and the hair bundle, and stick them together while they are half-dried.
While waiting for the bond to dry, fix the wig in place with a dacquard to prevent it from shifting position.

Now let's compare the bangs without the hairline with the bangs with the hairline.

The one without a hairline looks more natural, while the one with a hairline blends in better with the forehead.
In my opinion, the one with a hairline looks more like an "anime/manga-like drawing.
It might be a good idea to choose one for 2D cosplay and the other for 3D cosplay!

Sephiroth style! Super M-shaped bangs
The hair is very voluminous and full of volume. Crisp, voluminous bangs!
Now it's time for the last spurt!
We will finish the wig to make it more like Rin Tohsaka.
Prepare the bangs with cutting scissors and scissors.

After lightening the hair, trim the ends of the hair.
Spray the hair thoroughly and set it to create a character-like bundle of hair.
Next, create a slightly thin half-twin tail.
(This will be the base of the valance, so make sure the elastic is tight so it doesn't come loose!)

) Attach the valance to the left and right knots, checking the height and balance of the hair.
The base wig has volume, so if you use a valance for a character with a half-twintail, not just Rin, choose one with a moderate amount of hair like the "SARA Sukkiri Balance" so it will blend in naturally.
At last! The Rin Tohsaka style wig is complete!

Although it varies slightly depending on the source drawing, this time we have created a version of Rin with curled hair ends.
Here's how to make the curls! Easy perm with hot water and a paper cup♪
