Change by drawing! How to create an ideal bundle
Q. I want to get closer to the character's impression! Any tips for cutting?
Q. I want to reproduce the "drawing" in three dimensions! Do you have any tips?
A.
Why don't you pay attention to the "expression of the tips of the hair" where the individuality of the cartoonist, animator, or painter shines through?
Use a pair of scissors to make a wig for a character one rank higher in perfection!
Thick hair bundles→Vigorous, strong, cute, and pop
Thin hair bundles → Delicate, sharp, cool, realistic (natural)
You can make this kind of impression as you like!

Stick to making it look more like the character!
We will show you how to create the ideal bundle texture for those of you who have mastered the love of artwork.
Here is what we used this time...
Here are the scissors we used...
Made in Japan, steel-bladed scissors
It's so hard to get the right tools! I don't know what to buy! For those who have trouble finding the right tools...
Everything you need for wig cutting in one place! Recommended for beginner layers!
First of all, please see the completed images of thick and thin hair bundles.

Even with the same wig and the same set-up, the impression is very different just by the difference in volume!
The key is the "angle" and "location" of the scissors.
The method itself is very simple, so please remember it and use it as much as you can.
Let's get started!
If you want to make the hair bundle thicker

Take a large amount of hair and pinch it between your fingers.
Insert a pair of scissors at an angle and trim only the ends of the hair.

Create voluminous bundles!
Perfect for game characters or the main characters in shonen manga.
If you want to create thin hair bundles

Take a small amount of hair and pinch it between fingers.
Insert a pair of scissors vertically and trim from the middle of the hair to the ends.

Create stylish, sharp-looking bundles!
This technique is also great for characters whose hair is drawn in a slick style (e.g., Prince of Tennis series).
This technique can also be applied to good-looking characters in games for women.
Here are some wigs for characters that use the above techniques!
Examples of thick hair bundles

Left: Fate series/Ku Fulin (Lancer) style
Right: Ansamburu Stars! / Kou Furin (Lancer) style
Example of thin hair bundle

Left: Fate series/Arthur Pendragon style
Right: Prince of Tennis series/Keigo Atobe style
